Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a dedicated team of gamekeepers at Warter Priory Estate. We are looking someone who is enthusiastic, friendly and efficient but most importantly enjoys working as part of a very close-knit team.

Responsibilities

As part of the team you would be assisting with the management, care and welfare of our birds as well as pest control. You will also take a hands-on approach to making sure all equipment, vehicles and implements are in working order, ensuring safety of our team and guests.

During the season you would be involved in hosting our shoot days and assisting our senior keepers to make sure the days run smoothly. We are looking for someone who embraces a challenge and is happy to take a role in every aspect of the day to day tasks involved in game management.

Qualifications

The following skills are essential to the role, but we do pride ourselves in providing continuous professional development for our team and there is always opportunity for growth:

• Full UK driving licence
• Valid Firearms/Shotgun Certificates
• At least 2 years’ experience of gamekeeping
• It is vital you are able and enjoy working as part of a close-knit team.
• Ability to work flexible hours when required.
• Additional (training will be provided):
• Basic All-Terrain Vehicles Side-by-Side UTV
• Emergency First Aid
